Madeleine White is a writer and director with an unending desire to create films that can change the cinematic landscape for women. Growing up between coastal Australia and film-saturated Los Angeles, she developed a unique visual style that is signature in her works.
She believes that watching films is a practice of empathy and that personal, raw, and unique stories are at the heart of it.
Her short films have been screened at film festivals around the world, most recently winning Best Narrative Short at Academy Award-qualifying Heartland Film Festival.
Madeleine received a first-class honours degree in Film and Television from University of the Arts London, London College of Communication.
